Too many Nigerians in the UK believe they will never get old. They concentrate on the present—earning money, sending remittances, and dealing with everyday challenges—while neglecting the fact that, one day, age will slow them down. Health is another essential issue. Every irresponsible lifestyle choice becomes magnified as one gets older. Poor eating habits, lack of exercise, and overwork will eventually catch up with you. The UK provides healthcare, yet prevention is still preferable to treatment. Preparing for the grey years means taking your health seriously now—routine check-ups, balanced diet, and manageable routines that preserve your strength long-term.
