It may sound grim, but every immigrant eventually faces the dilemma of where they will be buried. In Nigeria, where your ancestors rest, or in the UK, where you have established a life? Burial choices typically show how you perceive yourself. For some people, Nigeria means home. Regardless of how many decades they have been abroad, they still envisage their final resting place in their village, beside family and ancestry. It's about roots and tradition. For others, the UK feels like home.

However, with careful planning—writing a will, purchasing burial insurance, and clarification , by declaring wishes—you can save your family considerable stress.
